BDSW are an award-winning, midlands based firm of Accountants and Business Advisors with clients around the world.
BDSW’s servers were due for replacement due to age and increasing demands on the system from their multiple software packages that run the business.
Any potential solution needed to be flexible, fast and secure, not to mention cost-effective, whilst delivering BDSW staff with a positive IT experience not just in the office, but also when working remotely.
The team recommend a SAN (storage area network) based solution coupled with the latest generation of HP servers and Microsoft Virtualisation. They were able to greatly increase our user experience with a hybrid model of shared server access and classic client-server, which supports the myriad of software packages we use daily.
The team deployed a new server infrastructure based around HP’s SAN and Server technology, coupled with a virtualised server and backup solution which enhanced data security for BDSW.
The entire project was installed with zero downtime by our highly experienced technical staff, who had to deal with the complex integration requirements of Digita, IRIS, Sage, Virtual Cabinet and Microsoft Exchange software.
